Welcome
to the Newsletter from the National Registry of Living Historians We have
seen tremendous growth over the past year and we continue to grow each
week. We now have over 700
members! We have been hard at work
making your National Registry
of Living Historians
an even better organization and provider for you and your needs as
Reenactors, Educators and Historians. We have free Listings for
all Living Historians. This is a
great way for you to recruit and let people know you are out there. It is a great way for others to find you
and your groups. And now we have added an area you won’t
want to miss: Links
to the Past.org. The Trading Post for All your historical
needs. Take the time to visit and see what a great service it is to you and
then be sure to sign up your website link.
It is easy and will be well worth the few minutes it will take to
investigate the site. We
appreciate your dedication to American History! We are
hoping to make the newsletter a regular communication to you and for you. If

can reach more people who are looking for the products you sell? We are
offering additional links pages, “Links to the Past.org” that are categorized
for time periods. This will provide a place where people can find products
and materials relevant to the time period they are interested in-- the ones
you sell! These links pages will be advertised at educational conferences and
events. In addition, “The Registry” is search engine optimized for maximum
number of search hits. We will get
even more well- known as more of you link to us and the word spreads about
this congregation of products and knowledge. If you would like to place your
link on these period specific pages, you may link for free. We only ask that
you provide a reciprocal link on your website to NRLH. We are also offering
a limited number of banner ads for a monthly fee to those who like to be at
the top and be seen right away. Now your products can be seen by those who are looking

links pages. Learning With Ease Promotes NRLH at Educational
Conferences Learning With Ease
will be advertising and promoting the NRLH at several upcoming conferences. It is our hope that through these
conferences and seminars more educators will be made aware of the wealth of
knowledge you, the living historians across the nation, have available to
groups of children and communities learning about American History. Our goal is to make it easy for educators
to find you. To those of you who give
talks and demonstrations throughout the year, and those who make and sell
period accurate products, we thank you for your willingness to put forth the
effort to educate and inform the American public about our nation’s history. Cooking through the Ages MMMMM...Have
a great recipe from the field? Wish you could share those wonderful foods you enjoy while
at an event? We are compiling a Living Historians’ Cookbook. Only
Registry members will be invited to participate in the cookbook project, so
this is YOUR COOKBOOKJ. We will
take the first 200 recipes of your favorite time period. The first 25 to send
in recipes receive a free cookbook upon completion of the project. You are welcome to send in multiple recipes
but one free cookbook per family. In the event that there are duplicate
recipes, we will credit both entrants and give the free cookbook to the first
one to get the recipe in to me. To send your recipe, reply to this email

how many it feeds. ·
Include any
specific cooking instructions, any historical significance of the food or
interesting information and the time period the recipe is from ·
